What an ending! I think you've delved into Richard's psyche spot-on; how he feels jealous, knows he can't compete, but tries to fight the demon within him anyway. Then, to reconcile that within himself, only to discover his fears were well-founded! This was very carefully written, and very well-received by this reader! Thank you! =)

Oh, PRETTY! I adore this idea. I've read a lot of fics where Lois figures it out and has to tell Richard (insert wangst here), but I don't think I've ever read one where Richard figures out he's Superman first, so I loved this. Excellent execution of a marvelous idea. A+! :D
