I'm glad Chase has forgiven Chloe for lying to him. Chloe doesn't have very many friends and at this moment in her life she needs all she can get.

Absolutely brilliantly written!
Poor, poor Chloe - she doesn't deserve any more grief for what she had to do. She is such an amazing person who is loyal and strong while at the same time incredibly vulnerable. I love the fact that at the end she decides to go back to work and get on with it, although there is a part of me that wishes she would go somewhere she can just be looked after for a while - that's what she deserves.

This is an awesome story. Your write each character so well and with such sympathy! My heart breaks for all of them, especially Chloe who's stuck in the middle and being pulled every which way.

One of Chloe's main attributes is her loyalty and trust to her (very few) close friends. I like the way you used that to turn Kim against her. And also her discomfort about lying to Jack because trust is the glue that holds the two of them together.

Chloe's under a lot of stress. Bad things are happening and there's nothing she can really do to stop them.

The web of lies and utter... isolation that Chloe was in for a full eighteen monthsis so awful, and like I said before, I'd never thought about it. Your take on her inner conflicts is just spot on, and very intersting to read. All the other characters (Michelle, Tony, Chase) are also very in-character, which really makes it click.

Yeah, Chloe's never been a good liar. But there is a serious risk if the Chinese are watching Kim. She's a pretty emotional woman.

Chloe might be rude and sarcastic but she's also the best friend anyone could ever have. I had been wondering why Chase left Kim. The nature of the show 24 just gives vague hints of what happens the rest of the time.

I am hooked. This is very well written and everyone is in perfect character. Can't wait to see what happens! Update soon!
