A very good job of humanizing Near. He's not so detached after all. He seems tired and weary towards the end of the anime series, and this can perfectly be one of the things that weighed heavily on his mind, if only to make him feel just a little bit disquieted. There's a vulnerable quality to his voice here that I like. Almost as if he was trembling, really. A moment of weakness, in his eyes, but he seems really shaken up.

I liked it. Hard to express gratitude to someone who died for you. Someone who was supposed to hate you in the first place.
