YES, YES and YES.

This story was a complete surprise. I'm a major Skittery fan and a closet Oscar fan, but the couple was so unexpected that when I read the summary I had no idea who the other half of "Skitcar" could possibly be (for a split second I thought "Racecar" and was like Race/Skitts? I'm a bit tired).

The idea of the two of them getting together totally makes sense (at least the way you wrote it) - and not to sound pervy, but it was totally hot.

"There was the secret sex in the bedroom, always short for convenience and never wild with passion for fear that somebody, anybody, could overhear them." Holy crap, YES! You've described so much about their relationship with that sentence alone you could've stopped there. In fact, that's what so good about this story - you describe everything vividly and with a lot of detail, but you keep it direct and to the point. Very tricky thing to do.

I like how you just jumped into this, unafraid of sex but not focusing the story on it. "I don’t know why I ever bothered to learn this fucking cunt-ass, cock-sucking thing" is such an Oscar line that it sounds like it was cut from the film (such a shame, too -wink-). And was he singing Styx? Nice touch, that.

More importantly, you've really captured Oscar's TYPE of character here - the type of guy who wants to have gay sex without admitting he's gay. Having his cake and... er... eating it, too. And Skittery's type of character is the guy who's fed up with guys like that but can't keep away from them. An unhealthy relationship, but very realistic and still understandably passionate.

I can't tell you how bummed I am that this is a one-shot. I don't know where else you'd be able to take it, and a lot of its charm lays in its brevity, BUT STILL. I want it to continue.

Again, this was a wonderful surprise and I'll be looking out for more of your work! :)

*sigh* Jeez, poor Skitts. Oscar's family has to find out eventually, right? (Same goes for David's, too.) Hey, but at least they got to finish. It would've sucked if Morris came home BEFORE they were done...
