Murasaki 1/2 2006-08-17 ch 12,	abuseYahiko's kiss didn't seem uncharacteristic. It was suprising. A suprising display of growing weakness. Battles are exhausting. As long as the justification is there, it will never seem ooc unless it's something unshakeable. lol. I can imagine Tsubame running completely like a girl. Like the ultimate girl. ^_^ The positions switching between the couple was interesting to read. WOOT! GO Tsubame, nothing's more unbeatable than mother's protective urge. . . ..unless there's some type of blunt object to your back. ^_^() This story is still awesome. The build-up started to drag a little but that all makes it such a great ride, now.

I am psychic, I should use these powers for good. ^_^ I guess women warriors were on my mind when I was reading this. Looks like Kenji's making his own way into manhood.

Scarred Sword Heart 2006-08-03 ch 8,	abuseI think you're doing fine portraying Kenji. He's angry and confused, so that makes him a bit sullen. Fourteen is a hellish age to be at, he's only a year away from his genpuku, but he's being treated like a child.

"and if Sagara Sanosuke wasn’t the walking epitome of arrogance, then who was?" lol. That line made me chuckle. ^_^ Good writing, as always. What's Kenji gonna do? Nothing too rash, I hope. ^_^()
Scarred Sword Heart 2006-07-31 ch 7,	abuseAh, poor Shinichi. sheds a tear I always struggled with why Kenshin told Yahiko he couldn't go with him in the Jinchuu Arc. He let Yahiko go to the Kanryuu mansion with him to save Megumi. What was the difference?

He has many dimensions and even more with the responsibility of being an adult, a son, a husband, protector and a protective older brother. Forgetting what it's like to be in the same shoes you wore in the past is almost always the source of tragedies, when you loose your ability to relate. And so now, Kenji is full of the need to prove himself just as Yahiko was.

Kenji's more than able to fight and Yahiko's treating him like he's four instead of 14. It's strange how quickly he's forgotten what it's like to be told "You're a kid. You're in the way. Leave this to the adults." How quickly is gap between our ideals and our practices. Of course, knowing Kenji, he likely won't obey.

I really like the depth of what you're writing here with Tsubame's relation to the Himura children and their innocence about what went on before they were born. And none of these feelings would be communicated as well as they are (very very well, that they are ^_^) if you hadn't put the hard work that you did into fleshing out the character of Tsubame. I really, really love this story and wish there were more like it.
Scarred Sword Heart 2006-07-24 ch 4,	abuseAw, poor Kaoru, always the butt of people's jokes. It's because as Sano said, she's a simple girl. ^_^x Just what is it that Kenshin bought for her? I'd dread being a parent in Kenshin or Kaoru's shoes. Secrets like Hitokiri Battousai have ways of coming out no matter how deeply one tries to bury them.
