Only Darry could have told him he was gonna get caught when he came back through the door, a cop holding onto the collar of his shirt.
“Is this yours?” asked the cop with a raised eyebrow.
Darry pointed his finger at Sodapop who was crying.
“Steve! Baby, why did you do this to me? I thought we had chemistry man! I thought we were gold!”
