the story isn't really my style though your writing style is pretty good. And that platform on wheels mechanics use is called a creeper AND when they want to get a stubborn bolt loose they usually don't use grease as such, usually a spray can of lubrication with teflon or graphite in it:) But for all that you claim not to know anything about cars you did pretty good!:):)
