Aw, I liked that! What a sweet ending.

Great story! So much fun!... I got confused there at the end... not sure if a demarkation line was missing or not... But it worked!

I was a little thrown by the lack of a scene break indication when we suddenly went forward from one Kara bender to another; although it might have worked very well on screen to blend those moments seemlessly, so maybe that's what you were aiming for. (Or it could be your scene breaks disappeared, as some of mine did.)

But that's a pretty minor complaint in a great story. I especially liked the combination of strength and compassion we saw in Lee, something that, as Kara points out, don't seem to go together in a lot of guys. The ending was particularly effective; I'm sure I'm not the only reader who imagined what might have happened immediately afterward.

Really enjoyed this. Typical Lee, deciding to back off and not rush things, only to lose his chance to Zak. Loved the mutual realisation at the end over the coffee.
