Simple perfection... It's the happiest ending to a PhanPhic I've read so far, though granted I haven't read that many as of yet. Ugh, I am a FAN of this fic! The ending was so happy and just perfect! Just great! I really hope to read more from you soon, but it's late now... Expect me to look at your other work sometime in the future, hopefully!

Wow. Just...wow. This story was beautifully crafted, and I absolutely loved reading it. I must admit though, that at the beginning of the story, I was a bit hesitant at the beginning idea of the plot itself, not knowing whether or not it would actually work, but you made it do so splendidly.

However, I do disagree with you changing Erik's name to that of Angel. It was an alright idea, but as I am sure many people have told you (or maybe not, who am I to know?), I prefer Erik as his name, and Angel as a possible pet name, in a manner of speaking. I do enjoy the ending very much, and did not overlook the significance of the ending of 'Don Juan' (excellent touch, if I may say so). All-in-all, this was a most delightful ending which I say I much preferred over that of the movie's/play's (although any ending with EC in it as a definite is preferable, but one cannot deny the elegance and simplicite beauty that came from the original product, of course, for without it there would be no fanfiction as excellent as this was).

It is with this long and rather tedious review (as I am sure, seeing as you MUST be either used to or bored of all of the sycophanty that you must receive or have recieved so often in your stories) that I now end things. I hope that you do not cease writing PhanPhiction for a long while yet, and bid you the best of muses.

This is the third time that I've read through your story, but my first review of it. It is one of my favorites. I love your depiction of the characters. Especially Raoul. I think this is a very realistic description of how he would behave in this situation. I know a lot of stories have him either going soft and being the best friend or going off the deep end and being a supervillian type character. I like how in your story it is clear that he IS the villain but manages to redeem himself, and find happiness.

I'm not even sure where to start. I've been seeking out a good Christine/Erik fic for a few days now, and this is absolutely the best I've read. Well, really, it's among the best fanfictions I've read - you're a brilliant writer; you pulled me in, and I could not escape. That had me smiling, laughing, growling in frustration and crying a little. So - bravo.

Wonderful story. Loved it til the last sentence. Really good plot line too.

I have just finished reading this story. It was nice to see Christine choose who she really loved at an earlier stage in the story. Wow! I absolutely loved your story. I have been writing fanfiction for about twenty eight years myself (jr. Hi as well)and I cringe at going back and reading them. HAHA! Youo are right on about improving every story, and learning. I am now 39 married 17 years and have 2 sons 11 and 6. My big fandom's are and were Star Wars, but I have begun dabbling in POTO as well. I have also read the leroux POTO, and Kay's Phantom,as well as Unmasqued adn the Phantom's return. I would love to know what you think of them all.

I too love the what if's and the divergences from a story's canon. I am all about alternate timelines, universes and scenes. I love that you diverged on a movie point as GB is teh Phantom in my mind. Of all of the POTO I love ALW movie version best, although I wished it had turned out more like your story. Thank you for a well-written, excellently planned, extremely engaging story that i could not stop reading until the end.
