It had a romantic plot, but that wasn't the only thing going on.

You could actually tell that Shera loved Cid, but that didn't stop her from living her life.

It wasn't too mushy, but yet at the same time it was so sweet

It seems these days that FFnet is flooded with worthless five hundred word one-shots and bad grammar and worse spelling and "crackfics" and other ** like that. But this... This is what I signed up for. Wonderful insight into Shera's character, believable dialogue, a hell of a narrative. I don't think there is enough vocabulary in my head for what I'm trying to convey. This was outstanding. Thank you.

The Meteor crisis from a noncombatant's point of view. Unbelievable. I can imagine the elation of the world's population conveyed through your words. But I'll save the rest of my praise for the last chapter.

Jesus. You know, just when I thought the last chapter had a wonderful description of the wake of the failed launch, I read this one. I felt every word of this one, and almost got a little misty-eyed during the first 25% of the chapter. I'm going to add this to my favorites, if you don't mind.

A very human look at the aftermath of the launch cancellation. Awesome. You've got a refreshing grasp of vocabulary I haven't seen in a while, and touched on the raw emotions of the crew in a way I hadn't considered, since the game didn't go into it.

Yes. Yes, yes, a thousand times yes. This is what I've been looking for in a fic for a long time—true to canon characterization, among other things. I am loving this story, and I don't say that a lot, if you take a look at my review history. Hoping this keeps up.

YAY It's a multichaptered Cid/Shera fic!! Holy crap I've been waiting for one of these! I love how it was from her point of view and I just loved the first kiss! Very well-done, gave me so many warm fuzzies.

I am kinda like her at times. I usually stay in the back. I don't like it when my parents try to change who I am, yet I let it happen anyway.

i would have liked to have read a bit more detail about things that happened before Cid came back for the rocket launch, but it was still good none the less!

the letter was brilliant, i never thought of Cid thinking she was Lady Luck, and this linkage would go great with what he says in the crater at the end of the game!!
