Reviews for: Five Promises Hermione Granger Couldn't Keep

Amazing, I love the style and the premise of the story. I know the pain when the promises made to you are never kept, brushed aside like so much garbage, but this really brings home what it must be like to be unable to keep your promises.

Oh. My. Lord. I feel achy and I'm about yea close to tears. There is nothing I can find fault with in this story. I love the repetition of the promise imagery tying everything together... it wasn't overpowering or redundant, it was just ideally placed and beautiful. Every tiny description you use is perfect. I can't even explain how much I enjoyed reading this. (I can't believe you only have a few comments? that's absurd.) The title seems so simple, but it's exactly it. Promises she couldn't keep. That the lives and deaths of everyone she loves can be reduced to that simplicity... and it breaks her, and this is unbelievable. the best thing I've read in a long time.

Woah. Startling, but incredible. ^^ Full of yummy angst and depression. I was really shocked by this piece (in contrast to some of your other works, like Butterflies) but I definitely like it a lot. The rambling descriptions created a really stylistic effect.
