You already have another ending, which I must say is more satisfactory that this one. Excellent prose, as usual, sad, too, but I still like Kelbrid Chronicles better.

It might have been a good last chapter though, in K.A's books. Although I still like her leaving it open like that so fanfic writers can do whatever they want.

ARG! I hate KAA! No author should do that to her readers! How dare she! She doesn't deserve to be the writter for Animorphs! (well, this could all be my temper talking, so ignore maybe some of it. I'm really not a crazy person [or that crazy...]) Just thinking about makes me want to... ARG! Better they all be dead then not giving us an ending at all! I would rather see the worse possible ending then having her just cutting us off like that (not that yours is the worse possible ending.) And also, let us not for get the back cover quote "The exciting CONCLUSION to the best-selling animorphs!" Conclusion? Ha! (can you tell I was really, really, REALLY angry, and still am? lol). Oh, and just for th record, cool "ending" from Cassie's pv. I never liked Ronnie, and I think it's unfair that Cassie be the only one alive, but that's mostly KAA's fault, isn't it? It's more realistic than mine... If it will even upload... *glare at *

Well, you may think what you want to think, it's an open ending, but that's not the way I thought it. And, then again, on second thought, maybe I like that end better, as well... sigh.

This is a small protest against the cover quote. It says "it will end with five", when it should say "it will end with

one". But then again, we don't know what really happens to the crew of "the Rachel", among them Jake, Tobias and

Marco, or what really happened to Ax. It can't end LIKE THAT, it's too sad. Kill 'em all off, so she's rid of them,

Another problem I noted was that the Animorphs did not begin with six. They began with five if you consider them Animorphs from the point Marco thought of the name. This happened sometime in the Invasion. Ax, the sixth Animorph didn't appear until the Message, long after the Invasion. Therefore, long after the beginning. But it sounds catchy, so who cares.

This was a fantastic fanfic. Well written, adhering to the story mostly... only problem is I can't see Cassie taking her own life. But then again I can't see her falling into depression like Jake either... Oh well. This is really good, Cassie's thoughts are similar to my own fanfic, and I COMPLETELY agree with you about the ending.
