 Qoheleth 3/31/12 . chapter 1Dear Dragon:
You're being far too easy on this guy. Arissa should just take total control over him. The Thirteenth Amendment allows for that, and it's a more precise statement of exactly what we the people think of what he's done. (At least, I assume it is. Since I don't know exactly what he's done, I can't be quite sure, but, from the way she talked about it, I doubt it's anything that merits less than a complete loss of liberty.)
Sincerely,
Qoheleth |
Zarohk Korobase 5/22/10 . chapter 1Makes perfect sense, and is both a practical and logical idea of what Yeerks can do for a job. Actually, it's the best idea for all involved; the society has no longer has to pay to feed and house criminals, Yeerks can both have a host through which to experience senses, and the criminals themselves no longer have to stay within jail, and can be integrated back into society. In addition, this system helps both Yeerks and criminal offenders (hopefully) form close bonds of companionship with others, the Yeerk can tell if someone is falsely accused of a crime, by viewing the criminal's memory of the crime, and can preemptively report if their monitored host is planning a crime, whether or not it is the same crime, and both report their host and prevent the crime.
Here's an idea for you: a "typical" lawyer drama in which Yeerks, who have passed the Bar Exam and so are lawyers, cross-examine their subject through a memory examination, similar to what happened to the former Visser One (Edriss 562, Host: Eva, Marco's mother) in the book VISSER. |

Kharina 3/20/05 . chapter 1Very interesting and original fic. I always wondered about yeerks helping human society at the end of the war.. I'm guessing this is at the end of the war, right. I would've thought theyd've at least got paid, though..
Anyway, I enjoyed it. Good job! |
Korean Pearl 8/4/04 . chapter 1That was so cute! I loved the idea of Yeerks having a place in society. I wonder whether humans will ever use a system like this, if it were possible...
