So I've extra pleased that you are writing one and I can already tell it will be awesome and very well written. My uncle was in the Coast Gaurd until he had to stop for medical reasons. He's one of my favorite people too. As a result I have a lot of respect for people in the Coast Gaurd... especially since I couldn't hope to be able to preform the necessary physical feats. I just thought I'd let you know! Oh, and that really, really sucks about the whole sun poisoning and ear infection thing. Wow, that must have been awful.
