terrorofthehighway 2009-07-12 . chapter 5 Wow- this one has perhaps the most character development.
I know that, theoretically, there'll still be more, but, really, this chapter acts like an ending to everything else. |

Koi19 2009-06-14 . chapter 5Oh, that was simply perfect, especially the way it blended with Skip Beat so well. Lory-sama was an absolutely treasure lol. So perceptive... Kyouya really should go in the entertainment biz, even if only to open his own company.
Okay, enough rambling, awesome chapter

Jenivi7 2009-05-29 . chapter 5Oh man, that was so brilliant. Even if I didn't know the lecturer, there was always something insightful in their observations of the club and comparisons between the hosts and people they know from their own series. And I especially adored Takarada's ponderings on who the leading man would be. The richness of the interactions in the series is one of the reasons I love it so much. By the end, Haruhi really could have been paired with any of the boys (and several of the boys could even be paired with eachother *phrawr*). And I'd have to agree with Takarada that Kyouya/Haruhi does have just about the most potential of any of the combinations XD Even tho I do adore Tamaki. (And don't even get me started on the twins!) Anyways! Just a long way to say that I really, really liked it XD And I would like to see a Yuuko one eventually... That combination totally tickles my brain.
"Though truthfully, it was difficult sometimes to tell the difference between their regular fawning, sighing, squealing, teenage clients, and the self professed master of magic, space, time and all the known dimensions." |
Nowshin 2009-05-20 . chapter 5Awesome! I usually don't read cross over ,but this one really was fascinating. Skip beat and ouran are both my favorite, and in this story you managed to portray the characters from both series perfectly. I love your showoff but insightful Takarada. Not to mention your writing is great as always. Keep up the good work! ;-) |
staidwaters 2009-05-17 . chapter 5Ek! I loved it. The last line is perfect. And how exactly did you figure out how to use written words to express an emotional concept usually expressed in symbolic visuals? Re: "as streams of water fly through the air around them and catch the rays of sunlight, bathing the three handsome combatants in a wondrous prismatic glow as the host club customers look on in awe." That is so utterly, utterly anime. (and Ouran, but it's the anime part that gets me.) I could see that scene, and each and every anime-related symbol used to portray it, even though you didn't mention even one of them. (Slow motion with giggles audible, focus on rainbows in the water droplets (also in slowmo), rotating cutesy items or flowers in the background, pastels, focus on random body parts (like feet or hands or mouth) with sparkles all around them, focus on random flower or tree branch or sky that is nowhere near the action then pulling back to show an endless beautiful blue sky with a few wispy clouds...) |
