Interesting story. KR was one of my favorite shows growing up. I hope you'll consider continuing this. It has potential.

I'm partial to the weirder / cooler, looking cars. So I would suggest the car to be a fully decked out. So, that being said, I personally want to see Ranma in a 20 Acura RSX. The car, when brought up to KITT standards, would just be georgeous!

great story keep it comeing. use bench seats if you will please... that type of seat is good for hidding.

For myself I would suggest a much more common vehicle at least in appearance. The primary reason being that if the vehicle is one that is unusual such as a 68 Mustang Shelby or old Dodge or Corvette people would both remember it AND it would be easy to recognize by the police.

For that reason I suggest something like a 19-2004 Mazda Miata fully tricked out using parts from Flyin Miata as the basis. This would increase the horse power from about 140hp which could do 150MPH to well over 300hp while reducing the weight by a few hundred pounds. The torque also takes a major increase. Add to this a nitrous oxide boost, and you could expect speeds and handling closer to appropriate for Formula One racing than normal street while having the acceleration appropriate for the Funny Car class in drag racing.

The biggest detractor I see is ground clearance. The vehicle would only have about 4 inches empty.

The car would look very similar to literally millions of other Miata's and identical to the all vehicles for the base vehicles year.

Okay I think your stories good. I did find Ranma's mother's reaction incorrect for a woman hell bent on tradition but you know I don't honestly care enough about it to gripe much. After reading the other reviews I noticed one thing that no one got. Ranma is a water magnet and will attract hot water if he has been in his cursed form for to long. Undercover yeah right more like blown cover. I also noticed that most of the reviewers had no idea about anything besides common and modern cars. As for K2 I do agree it should be Ranko's voice if for nothing else for the comic effect. As for the body I believe it should not be a Mustang. They are way to common and IMO they look terrible. I would suggest a 70's Corvette, Dodge Charger, Plymoth Cuda, or a Camero. I think it would make more sense to have K2 as a Camero since the Camero is the Chevy version of the Firebird. Oh and for the Color I would say silver, blue or black. Red stands out way to much as do expensive cars like the Viper or Porshe. Well I've stated my opinion and now for some encouragement. Keep up the great work and I look forward to your next installment.

I thought your first chapter wasn't all that good. To me, it read like a detailed outline. Then I read chapter two and thought, "hey, he does know what he's doing!"

I love it when Ranma can't make a decision about which girl. Since he's legally dead, does that mean that marriage laws and such won't apply? If so, I hope you can find a way to get a three way wedding in here.

Car wise, personally I'm thinking of a 2007 Saleen Parnelli Jones Mustang. That's one car that looks likd business. Besides the tan color (check out the photo on mustangheaven), the scoop on the hood screams!

KITT wise, I think, m, well, kitten. Meow. Think of Catwoman from the old Batman TV series. Oozes sex and has a real naughty streak, and really enjoys making Ranma squirm.

I have to agree with Bialaska, K2 should be female... Maybe Nabiki loaned Kasumi a few of her audio tapes from when Ranma was still in Nerima. Kasumi could use the Ranko audio to build the voice patern for K2, I think that would be hallarious to have Ranma meet his car, and hear his female voice arguing back with him...

Hmm. I think a convertible would probably be the only one suitable for Ranma. He's a martial artist and needs to be able to leave the car quickly without relying on the doors. As for what car I think a car like Porsche would have the grace, sleekness and speed that Ranma would need. Michael Knight has a fit in KITT, but the Pontiac is too bulky for a type like Ranma. :)

I do think that K2 should perhaps be Ranma-chan in behaviour. Kasumi's admiration (love) for Ranma could have made her do this. So K2 would be brash, rude and putting it's wheel in it's speakers quite often. And it would be a perfect fit for the older and more experienced Ranma-kun.

And remember, the car should be red, the color of Ranma's old outfits and the color of Ranma-chan's hair!

Pretty good, it's not too hard a stretch to believe Ranma would become a cop. and even less hard to believe he'd leave Nerima and tell Akane to take a flying leap. then to be found by the foundation, not to mention finding both Kasumi and Nabiki working there as well. great touch, but my personal vote would be for Ranma and Kasumi to get together. but I won't die if you decided means to be Nabiki. I am posting this out to the RaK C2 group with the posting of this review.

as far as my opinions for K 2, may I suggest a nice 300 Z X, or maybe the Mitsubishi Eclipse. both are really nice cars. and while maybe not the best performing racers on the track I am partial to their looks. that is unless you're feeling really froggy and want to go with a Viper. and I don't think any performance stock car off the showroom floor can beat that, period end of sentence.

I like the story very much, but a thought did occur to me, hope it doesn't offend ya. Instead of having Ranma crush the ring (and considering he'd be not too well off after buying a ring) have him give it to Nabiki, saying 'here, if ya sell this, it should hopefully cover what I owe ya'. That way, in the later chapter, when they dine together. He can see the ring on her finger and ask about her fiancee only to find out she kept the ring as a memento of him.

Anyhow, so far, an awesome idea you got. I vote for Kitt 2 being a BMW M series roadster. I hoep you update this story soon and not forget about it.

One simple word, Corvette. I.ve always loved them myself and the body style just seems to flow with the original Knght rider theme.
