Totally sad because of the ending. This fic was really awesome, I kind of agree with the split personality, especially after I saw Raito without his memories. And this story was very sad, especially the ending.

Lovely story though. Dark, and fleeting. I love how you kept L in his own character; indifferent and analytical. Just shows how stong of an impression he left on Raito.

I absolute loved it. Ever since the Yotsuba arc, I've been thinking about Kira and Light being separate, but I never thought about it long enough to delve as deep as you have. You asked if I was disappointed with the ending? Besides Mello and Matt being dead(sniffT_T) which i'm still crying about, I think I was content with it. I liked Matsuda's thoughts on everything, because I think out of all the characters he was the most accurate in his way of thinking--despite his ignorance. He also was the only one to take action when Light(I should say Kira according to this story) was about to kill Near. But before I get off track, awesome story! You have great skills.

Wow. And here I thought dissolving into nothing at the end of ch. 107 was the creepiest fate poor Light could have gone through. You, however, have just made it infinitely creepier. An eternity of nothingness sounds that much worse, now... not knowing what's real or not... *shivers*

I don't subscribe to the split-personality theory, but I make exceptions for very good fics. Like this one. I salute thee.

That was sad. I really liked this piece it kind of made me feel bitter. So Matsuda was the one who pulled the trigger on Raito huh? I wonder how it all ended that way, god, Death Note is such a complicated work. I liked the way you began this, the darkness and how it blanketed over him. I also loved the ending where Ryuuzaki appeared and left Raito with the final image of his back. The way you did the transition of the innocent raito to the evil kira is amazing, it's the natural flow of this fic that I loved the most. You didn't pull off a whole paragraph just to let the readers see him turn back to the psychopath kiler that is kira. I liked it's flow.

I was wondering, was Kira and Yagami Raito separate in the chapters beyond the chain arc? You don't need to answer that, but I actually like the idea of split personality and everybody here is toying with the idea... Hm...

I finally read up to fifty three and the site I got scanlations froms suddenly... stopped. Wait a second... Death Note ended in...108 chapters? Are you serious?

Don't hurt me! I'm just a tiny fangirl who's in shock over the sheer amazingness of this story! I always love reading the split Raito/Kira theory, even though I suck too much at writing it to even attempt it, but this is by far one of the best methods I've seen it used in!! I was wandering around DeviantArt the other day and found a one-page comic about what happened after Raito bit it, and found the idea interesting, but I like it written out--not to mention your version--much more! Both (all three, I should say) were extremely IC, and I love your description of the darkness, and of Kira! Wow. Again.

One Last Chat was a rather interesting look at the end of the series. I haven't read that far, but I know Matsuda shoots Raito and such. It is a kind of interesting idea, giving Raito a split-personality. It is very well a possibility. In the beginning, it was Raito, but as he went on it might have developed into a split-personality. He does seem different once he loses his memories in the chair arc, doesn't he?
