Ice Dragon3 2008-07-29 . chapter 1A well-written, enjoyable story with an interesting perspective--you really captured Peter's hesitancy with those last few sentences. Good job with this. |
XxBrooklynnxX 2007-05-08 . chapter 1Good beginning. It seems very interesting so far... |
SupportSeverusSnape 2006-10-03 . chapter 1-sigh- Stupid world...stupid Registration Act. |
htbthomas 2006-09-16 . chapter 1You know, somehow I missed this when you published it! Silly me. I've been in the throes of a Superman Returns fic and my Spidey fic reading has been slacking...
I really like this, you are going to continue I hope? |
Sheba 2006-09-16 . chapter 1 Love your story. I'm following "Civil War" and the unmasking plot line in the comics and was delighted to find a story here that was so current. Thanks for the good work. I'm looking forward to the next chapter!
By the way, very well written story! |
Wandering Raccoon 2006-08-07 . chapter 1Awesome! Really hoping to see an update from you soon! |
Spawn Guy 2006-07-31 . chapter 1I like the end, as it sums up pretty much the problem with Peter revealing himself to the world like that. I'm interested in seeing how Marvel handles Spider books with this hanging over them, but the simple fact is Peter Parker lives in both worlds: his own and Spider-Man's. The mask allows him to fulfil his responsibilities, but it's only a tool. Now there's no barrier between those worlds and the danger that his real face will become the disguise, nicely symbolised thought the hat and his inability to relax the security guards in his regular clothes. Marvel prides itself of making Spider man a regular person, but now it's allowing the ordinary people to distance themselves from Peter and turn him into something else. I enjoyed this storeys symbolism of how Spider-Man is just a change of clothes for Peter, as he handles whatever problem comes his way without the mask, but how removing it takes away so much. |
Lady Suneidesis 2006-07-30 . chapter 1This is good! Well written, interesting character study. I always thought that Peter was an idiot to reveal his identity for all those reasons you brought up. I am really looking forward to see where this is going. I do suggest a title change, though. That one is way too overused, and this story is unique enough to deserve something else! :D Keep up the great work! |
etango 2006-07-30 . chapter 1 I've been scouring the web for Civil War fanfic, and this was absolutely worth it. Great characterization, from Tony throwing out Peter's gum so that he doesn't stick it under a White House table to Spider-man using the 'superhero license'. Please keep writing. |
Fabfroma 2006-07-30 . chapter 1That was a wonderful fic. I wish there were more Spidey civil war fics. Hope there's more chapters soon! ^_^ |
