Very insightful, as I said. I don't know what, exactly, I loved so much about it; maybe it was simply that it was - or feels - heartfelt? Angst fics too often turn to bad melodrama and cliche, but you manage to avoid those very nicely and packed a lot of emotion into a relatively short story. The actions of the characters are all very believable, in a subtle but powerful kind of way. Really outstanding work, it is definitely going on my favorites list. |
