John M. Steppenwolf 2009-08-27 . chapter 6 I had forgotten about this fic. I was surprised to find that it was recently updated. Lately I’ve found that there are a lot of fics that I’m reading that authors have gotten around to updating.
Suggestion: Seeing as how it takes a while for you to update, and the chapters are rather long to re-read again, would it be possible to get a brief summary of what’s been going on in this fic or what happened in the previous chapter. Last time a friend of mine fell asleep trying to do a run through of what had happened.
Anyways moving on. You know I’ve always figured Ron to be the hero and Kim to be the distraction. More people notice Kim and go after her than they do Ron. Ron’s job is to stop what ever device the bad guy as created while Kim fights the villains. If what Kim is doing is not the distraction then I must be missing something here.
So Drakken got the money for security cameras around the same time he was able to create a holograph projection of himself in “So the Drama”. Q: How many people accept the movie? Me, I do in only one context, Kim and Ron got together. Other than that I don’t.
Simply put, if Drakken can do a lot of the stuff that he did in the movie and was not a complete idiot then he should be able to do that stuff in the series, but since the creators decide not to, well than I throw out 96% of “So the Drama”.
And view it as merely a figment of Ron's imagination.
You know this is probably the first or maybe one of the few fics that Shego actually tries to kill Kim and Ron.
BTW: Ron if Drakken's old, then Mr. Possible is old too, seeing as how he and Drew went to school together. 1 more thing: I think the creators of Kim Possible put more questions into the series than they were able to answer.
Keep up the good work. |
Tripl35oul 2009-08-04 . chapter 6I'm so glad that you've decided to post an update to the story and wow! Can't believe you know what bubble teas are lol. Anyway, that was a pretty crazy chapter. I'm not bulimic nor have I experienced it through anyone else but I'm extremely disappointed with Ron his continued behavior. Of course, I can only imagine how hard it would be to quit something like that but I can't help but feel sympathy towards Kim and how she must feel. The cliffhanger was intense and I could only see 3 outcomes from it, one of which I'd prefer not to read about.
I also thought Kim should share her nightmare with Ron (I'm assuming it's a flashback about the very thing keeping herself from making love to Ron)
since she's always the one telling him how they should tie loose ends (more specifically, Ron's condition) before they could live the rest of their lives without looking back.
If I may ask, how far along are we towards the end of the story/trilogy?
Thanks again for the update! I love it and I look forward to your upcoming ones as well as new ones if you have any planned. |
zero9g9 2009-07-31 . chapter 6So you finally update after forever...
WITH A CLIFFHANGER?!
D:
But I am glad that this story's back. I was wondering where you had gone... |
 Shockwave88 2009-07-30 . chapter 6Sweet! I hope the next chapter's coming out soon! :) |
CajunBear73 2009-07-30 . chapter 6Boy, those two have 'issues'. Working them out in the field just ain't working and now comes the added problem of surviving what may come from this tumble from the sky.
Kim's Nightmare is going to haunt her for some time and she has to come clean with Ron about it. There's still too much residue from all that came before and they both have to clear things between them.
Ron's issues are concrete, yet fluid, all the same. As non-complex as he's been cast, he's so much more complex than even Kim could suspect. If they both survive this trap, they may just have the means of bringing all of the baggage in their lives out in the open to confront and work out.
But they have to remember they love each other and never forget this.
Now about that fall into the Amazonian canopy...

PS: Preaching to the choir about life taking things on and keeping you from something like this... See ya when you get back up again! |
Tripl35oul 2009-07-28 . chapter 5I hope you still read reviews and visit the site because I wanted to let you know how amazing I think this universe you've created is. It's been a while since your last update so I know it's a long shot but I'd love to see this story through to the ending. I do not mean this in any negative way, but you owe it to the followers as well as KP/RS to give us/them the ending they deserve after everything they have been through. There are so many unanswered questions as well that only you could unlock.
I can't promise you'd get a lot of reviews if you do decide to update (though IMO you'd get tons) but I'll give you my word that you'd have a sure one from me for every chapter you post.
Either way I love this story! Thanks for all the time you've put to share this with us. |
Shockwave88 2009-06-27 . chapter 5Just spent the last 24+ hours reading this and the previous two parts.
Bloody amazing man, keep it up! :) |
RabulaTasa 2009-04-27 . chapter 5I'm guessing that the issue Kim is insisting "never existed" is the pregnancy that mysteriously vanished between the last chapter of ER2 and the first of ER3, and circumstances surrounding how it may have come to be. I was wondering what had happened to that, I'm glad to see it's resurfacing.
Bonnie was the only one laughing... sounds a lot like the end of STD to me. I predict a much chillier atmosphere for the girl we've grown to love to hate. She was asking for it, though. That was /low/.
This trilogy of yours is brilliant; I can't wait to see more of it!

sephiroth2004 2009-02-11 . chapter 5Well, I have read a LOT of fanfiction over the past few years. Fullmetal alchemist, evangelion, kim possible, and so forth.
Put simply, this is the most well-written, thought out, plain 'ole best story I have ever read on this site, or any other.
You have the writing ability of an author of many years and many published novels. You're...really good. Such attention to detail, the diction, the flow, the pace, everything is done so well. I'm often very nit-picky, but I honestly don't really have any complaints.
You've impressed me very much. I do hope that you will continue to fascinate me with a story that kept me up til 4AM, and being late to work the next morning. |
Lyokowarirtitan/titan9331(|:|) 2008-12-20 . chapter 5 hi Awesome story, I just finished reading all of your equal romance series in the past week and it is very good. you are one of the best authors in KPfic, defin. top ten. realy hope you can update soon thanks for all your time and dedication. now to get back to homework 1 week overdue:( hope you're okay. thanks again. |
Achalon 2008-10-31 . chapter 1Okay. I liked the first two stories, despite a lot of repetition you had in them and things not always adding up. But, you would have been better off forgetting the bulimia than forgetting the baby in this installment.
Would have been refreshing to see them dealing with their advancing relationship and dealing with the pregnancy/baby instead of just more and more melodrama.
Maybe it's my fault for sitting down and reading everything in the story in one gigantic session, but seriously you have enough melodrama in this story to make a popstar try to slit their wrist with a business card. - We get it, you wanted a dark and emo story. That's cool, they can be interesting. No insults there. But, this is an Epic Trilogy you're going for, right? If so, then there really hasn't been much development in the story. Just, "Oh, wow, wonder how they will screw up and be emo this chapter."
Now that the criticism is done... You are an amazing writer. While some things you write don't necessarily make sense; (A la Kim and Ron yelling loudly at each other in the hall in front of her parents room, only for them to come out minutes later and not having been able to hear what they were shouting? That's just silly.) your level of description, breaks for dialog, and wordplay are all excellent. Using a beta with an eye for details, I think you could be phenomenal in whatever you decide to write in life.
I'll keep an eye out for your other works, but I doubt you'll hear anymore from me on this one. It's just gotten too annoyingly depressing.
Best of luck,
Josh. |
 Joken 2008-07-25 . chapter 1pretty good!^^ |
Marcus S. Lazarus 2008-05-20 . chapter 5Firstly, great to see you've not given up on this story; after the sheer scale of the first two it would have practically been a CRIME for you to stop now.
Secondly, you've definitely maintained your standards of writing from the first two; after writing two full-length stories like the last two parts in the trilogy, expectations for future projects can only get higher, so it's good to see that you've managed to cope with that.
Plot-wise, the story's proving to be VERY interesting so far; as with the last two, you effectively combine some more adult themes, such as Ron's bulimia and that encounter with the poacher, with the characters and plots from the TV series, such as Kim's continued rivalry with Bonnie and the confrontation with DNAmy (On the topic of DNAmy, any chance I could use some of the Cuddle Buddy-based genetic creations you mentioned here in a future Kim Possible/Harry Potter crossover I'm planning; I've got the plot mostly straightened out, but my knowledge of some of the fine details about Kim's enemies means I don't know what kind of creations DNAmy's used in the series in the past)?
So far, as far as the plot goes, I just have one question; what happened to Kim's baby during the months between when "Obscure Ways" ended and this story began? Given that Ron doesn't seem to know anything about it, I'm assuming it was a miscarriage- Kim's thoughts in the last story make me think it pretty unlikely that she had an abortion, and Ron's ignorance about her reluctance to have sex rules out the possibility of it being given up for adoption-, but that still leaves the 'how' and 'when' of it a mystery.
Well, keep up the good work; I am DEFINITELY eager to know how this trilogy's going to end!
(I just hope Ron isn't in that camp for too long; I somehow doubt that those places are very cheery) |
nutshak 2008-05-01 . chapter 5oh. my. god. i read the other two equal romances before this and i'm reviewing for all three. and I cannot even begin to describe how good this was. it was awesome in every aspect, save for maybe a few spelling mistakes every now and then. You got in each charecters head so well, and you trapped me reading for hours on end non stop. i refused to read anything else untill i had finished reading equal romance. i cannot even begin to work out how it is that you write so good. this story was absolute magic my fren. by far one of the best stories i have ever read. i cannot wait untill you post the next chapter, i hope it is soon. i give it 100 stars. keep it up!
(P.s It may just be me missing something, but what happened with kim being pregnant? cus at the end of Obscure Ways to Devotion she was pregnant, and then in unstable distance she like, not any more. as i said, it might just be me being thick and not getting summin, but it be great if ya could tell me whats goin on there...)
(p.p.s, You rock!) |
Loser7 2008-04-29 . chapter 1 Wow, I totally didn't expect this story to be updated. It's basically the only reason I even go to . I'm glad I kept checking randomly. I'm so excited to see how the rest of this unfolds, and I think I have a theory on why Kim's hesitant with Ron as far as the sex issue, but I'll keep it to myself because I could either be a)horribly wrong and sound like an idiot or b) be right and ruin it for someone else. It's probably (a) knowing me |
