I hate this. It's a bizarre position to be in. I want to praise you for it because the quality and horror and vividness of it was excellent and did not cross into excessive. You left plenty to the imagination, which carries this better than overdone descriptions.

But yet, saying "I LIKED IT" is a damn creepy-weird thing to say over a fic like this.

So I'll just settle for my first reaction, the words out of my mouth when I read "the end":

Oh, holy SHIT.

wow. this was a sandwich of beautiful, fugly, scary, and kinda awesome. woah.

Cool torture fic there, I really love the Reavers, I can really identify with them.

OH! Yeah, pretty sad what happened to Serenity's crew, real ... sad.

Nuts! But very well done. I especially like all of his friends coming back to haunt him.

That was all kinds of disturbing and horrible. But really well written. And totally creeped me out.

Disturbing, creepy descriptions. So much imagery, thought and pain *shudders* can't say I'd read it again but it did make me think, is a very good piece of writing and a very apt ending to be had.

*Admittedly now sobbing for the firefly crew*

Surprisingly, your torture/Reaver attack fics are not the cliche going on for chapters and chapters that some of them are. I salute you. This was incredibly good. And disturbing. But that doesn't matter. I quite enjoyed it. It made me shiver.

I wasn't planning to. This...this is just horrific! I think my stomach plummeted farther then it has ever plummeted before. To do something like that to a human being and drive them so insane...it leaves to the imagination what that poor guy from Bushwacked went through. And for it to happen to Jayne of all people...

What a wonderfully written, excellent character piece. Should I confess that I enjoyed this immensely? The ending was a nice bit of work. Wolf in the fold - I can see it now.

Totally and utterly gruesome. You really brought across the horribleness of the Reavers.
