Great job! I can really picture that happening! Poor Dean and well, the whole Winchester family.

This was very good, and so realistic when it comes to Dean's view, being torn between wanting a life of his own and his feelilng responsible for his dad.

Nice take on the whole stanford thing. Good work!

An interesting take on what that conversation might have been like. I can definitely imagine Dean feeling stuck in the middle.

Favorite lines:

How could Sam not see how important it was to keep this family together? Couldn't he understand that he and Dean were the only two people keeping their father from falling apart?

I especially like that last line. I hadn't thought of it from that angle before, that Dean would have been concerned about John falling apart without both his boys there. It's interesting to think about John possibly being that vulnerable and on the edge. Nice!
