I love the way you made the story focus entirely on their growing relationship, starting from their subtle glances at each other-- to their eventual engagement. I am not quite fond of stories about Ouran where it is set in the future, but after reading this, I guess I could reconsider it.:)

Umm... "-chan" is, in my studies, typically used for girls, small boys, and couples. It is the feminine version of "-kun". It's supposed to make the name sound small and cute.

and seeing as how I study japanese, I thought I'd let you know that "-san" is an ending that, while being a unisex honoriffic, is usually translated as "mr, mrs, miss, etc."

I was feeling to tired to do anything but read your wonderful story, but I felt the need to tell you to stop beating yourself up about your "OOCness and general suckage". I LOVE the story! And I just had to let you know that I really appreciate you sticking to the manga. Though I enjoyed and plan to own the anime, the manga evolves so much more realistically. So thank you for being "educated" in your story and sticking to the original, I appreciate it!

A very believeable story, considering the pairing. And, despite all you warnings, there was very little OOC-ness. You do Bisco Hatori-sama a service by adding your perspective to the story. Overall, a very well written story. I did notice some grammar errors, but nothing that couldn't be fixed by some minor BETA work. I volunteer for any future projects, for what it's worth. ( I work in my school's writing center, so...)

I can't wait to read more from you! I only have one question: Why did you change the second brother's name. It was Shinichi at one point, and then it changed to Akito. Find something in the manga, did we?
