This was a good story, I liked how it wasn't just one incident in which he turned out to performing a caring act. Having it scattered through your story made it much more effective. We know that he cared and loved her all along, which I hope is what you were trying to portray. I think this could be expanded to a longer fic. To draw out more her friendship with Harry and Ginny and the role they play in supporting her or at least, trying to. Great work though :)
