All through the previous chapters, I was trying (and completely failing) not to laugh so damn loud every time Jubes and Jono have one of their funny exchanges. It is in the middle of the night after all. ^^;

Sage was pretty much in character. A little too sypathetic, but not enough to detract from her character, I think. So congrats! Not many people can write Sage well!

it's a good story nd all...just feel like you're developing the story more than the characters. like...wisdom, for example...is really out of character. sure, he's grumpy and half drunk all the time, but he's got a great sense of black humour...sarcastic and adorable...anyhow.
yeah...your story is good, but i feel like it needs to be told a little more competently...not only the central characters in mind, but also the peripheral ones.

Haha, Jono's last line is great. I'm looking forward to some interaction between cool, logical Sage and witty, sarcastic Jubilee.

Tiny nitpick: the term "New Excalibur" applies only to the book we read; the team calls itself simply Excalibur.

but how about after the excalibur runs their tests on jono, both jono and jubilee leave them and then get an offer to join captain america's team or maybe even s.h.i.e.l.d. ?
i mean jubilee can still kick some ass without her powers (even though she would have been one of the most powerful mutants. i mean mojo wanted her to be his slave so he can have her recreate the univerise or something like that! it's in wolverine issue # 53 incase your wondering).

anyway, this is just an idea. i kinda don't like the x-men for abanding them just because they don't have their powers and then come running to them when they realize they might still have their powers.

once again, love your story and can't wait to read more!
