Actually, from what I know, people will usually only follow those who are the best, no matter what kind of peculiarities they have. Like they'd follow someone who's crazy if that person was any good at leading. So, peculiar words wouldn't phase any of Captain Go's followers. So long as she's good at being captain. ^_^ Anyway, yeah, it did seem a bit close to POTC, but it's different enough that it was good. Also, I'm wondering how you'll have this develop, and end, since I'm sure the red-head will be returned, when she'll want to stay with Captain Go. ^_^ That ought to be interesting. ^_^

An excellent start. (Although Captain Go could have been more menacing to the girl before she claimed Parley.) Pirates are cool and ninja pirates are even cooler. If the story ends up being half as entertaining as the summary, we're all in for a thrilling ride.

Great start! I did pick up the distinct flavor of PotC in here, but even so I think the characterization of Shego has been great. I'm definitely looking forward to future chapters (hoping of course that there will, in fact, -be- future chapters). Anyway, hope to see more, if not, glad there was this much at least.
