What a cute idea. As a phan myself, I found this especially charming.

I did think, though, that the actual Phantom lines you quoted sounded... overdone, in this scene. I greatly prefer the lines you wrote yourself, for the characters to speak in that scene. Tim Rice's lyrics sound entirely too contrived and unnatural for that scene, while yours were natural and (as far as possible) in character.

DUDE! Flippin Schweet fic! This is an incredibly original idea, and I love it because it mixes my two favorite stories together. Great job!
