|Reviews for A Pirate's Minuet|

Beautiful, beautiful imagery. And very unique. The choice of minuet was perfect, for lyrical *and* historical reasons. LOVE.

Aw, I loved this fic! You did such an amazing job with it, taking a scene and describing it amazingly in terms of the dance and the hurricane within and oh wow- I just felt mesmorized by each line in the story. Such description and ability to see everything about Norrington's personality and feelings.

This is the most beautiful Norrington fic I've ever read. I've got to say you are one of my idols in all the Pirates fics I plan to write

That was... amazing. I can feel the underlying emotion in the scene, and it is a beautiful thing. I love the way you delve into the minds and hearts of the characters. I love the imagery of the fight as a dance, and the music within it all, and I love the way you've described the interactions between Elizabeth and James. I think that relationship has a lot of potential for drama that has, unfortunately, remained largely unexplored, both in the canon and in the fandom, and I think you've done a wonderful job of hinting at that dramatic potential here.

So sad! I think this scene is one of the sad parts of the movie. You capture the imagery very well.

Ooh, very nice. It was pullin' on the old heartstrings at the end there, I'll have you know. Which is precisely why it is so very nice. *satisfied smirk-grin*
