rockstop57 3/5/08 . chapter 1Beautiful, beautiful imagery. And very unique. The choice of minuet was perfect, for lyrical *and* historical reasons. LOVE. |
Rickmanlover24601 9/5/07 . chapter 1Aw, I loved this fic! You did such an amazing job with it, taking a scene and describing it amazingly in terms of the dance and the hurricane within and oh wow- I just felt mesmorized by each line in the story. Such description and ability to see everything about Norrington's personality and feelings. Just marvellous. |
BohemianCane04 6/17/07 . chapter 1This is the most beautiful Norrington fic I've ever read. I've got to say you are one of my idols in all the Pirates fics I plan to write |
DreamFlight 6/17/07 . chapter 1This story is so beautifully written! I just love your writing style. :) |
Asteria 8/9/06 . chapter 1That was... amazing. I can feel the underlying emotion in the scene, and it is a beautiful thing. I love the way you delve into the minds and hearts of the characters. I love the imagery of the fight as a dance, and the music within it all, and I love the way you've described the interactions between Elizabeth and James. I think that relationship has a lot of potential for drama that has, unfortunately, remained largely unexplored, both in the canon and in the fandom, and I think you've done a wonderful job of hinting at that dramatic potential here. |
sudoku 8/8/06 . chapter 1So sad! I think this scene is one of the sad parts of the movie. You capture the imagery very well. |
To Die Laughing 8/8/06 . chapter 1Ooh, very nice. It was pullin' on the old heartstrings at the end there, I'll have you know. Which is precisely why it is so very nice. *satisfied smirk-grin* |
JacksMermaid 8/8/06 . chapter 1That... is absolutely fecking lovely. What imagery! Gloriously written. |
