CURSE YOU, MANGA! Why, WHY?! Why did Tohru choose Kyo?
I DEMAND YOU TO TELL ME! Yuki deserves her... TT.TT

I got all excited about the seemingly obvious Kagura/Kyo and Tohru/Yuki pairings. Tohru/Kyo kinda shocked me. :P That's just one of the reasons I prefer the anime over the manga. Then again... The anime kinda HINTED the accursed couple in the end, I think; not to mention that Akito was featured as a male. But there's more scenes of Yuki and Tohru together.

At least there's fanfiction for my yukiru depletion syndrome...

I totally agree with you.I was rooting for Yuki/Tohru,and Hatori/Kana also.But there always fan fiction!Loved your poem!

God! don't remind me of this realy I was so
disapointed with the kyou tohru thing...
I mean really it sucks!
but then again I didn't stop reading I acually
read to volum22 & now waiting for volum23 wich is the last volum of furuba...
in my opinion I think yuki really loved tohru
and by that I mean like a woman not a mother
but he loved the mother quality about her too..
or convinced him self that he feels that way about
her because he knows that she will choose kyou at the end...
sigh... in the manga he mentions more than once that she looked at kyou in a spicial way and
that look was only for kyou and will never be for him ...

in this volum after tohru confesed her love for kyou the latter freakes out and end up saying
hurtful things to tohru wich leaves her in tears
& sadly enough after that she fall from a clif
leading her to be badly hurt ... so kyou blamed him self and didn't even go to the hospital!...
wich angerd yuki ALOT!! I think this is the first time we see yuki that mad so he went to knock some sence in to kyou's mind and enede up fighting with him during the fight kyou said that he only hurt tohru so she would better be with yuki and not him... that comment had clearly hit a soure spot in yuki's heart after shouting at kyou & giving him some punshes (wich he REALY deserve) yuki said while crying that it could never be the same for tohru if she was with him
she will never be as happy with him as she is with kyou because she loves kyou...
GOD that made me cry T_T it was so obvious how much yuki loved tohru but he knew she will never love him as much as she loves kyou and I think that what made him pull out and conseder tohru as a mother figer...
realy it was sad...
but still ... I love the manga even now I like how yuki ended up helping machi be a better person realy yuki is the best so kind & gentel^^

*cries softly and huggles Spaz* Sister, this was so sad and truely made me take a turn for your liking... I've read some stuff and frankly, I'm more pissed at Kyo than ever a'fore. This poem was so sad... I love it though...

waah! this was a good poem. i haven't read the manga but i've watched the show and i was so bent on Yuki and Tohru and i thought they'd like be together or something but instead it's Kyou. it sucks. my heart broke when i watched the last episode. i actually kinda thought Yuki looked sad in it when his arm was being bandaged. hmm, a mother figure. That's sweet and cliche. I've heard it so many times hehe. anyway, i've said my fair share.

That was touching and I totally agree with you on all the pairings, although Hatori/Mayuko doesn't bother me too much. I was completely thrilled at all the Yukiru-ness of volume 10-11, but then shejust has to go and screw things around. My dad is jumping for joy right now because I told him very soon I'd stop reading. *sigh* I'm going to need to find another fandom. Great fic!
