I think the magic isn't going to be transforming him into a girl anytime soon as he'd probably rather die then do so the way its been handling it. Lets see the semi-sentient magic deal with someone who'd rather croak then use it.

Overall, not too bad, but I think you may be attempting to add too many crossover elements and it's detracting fromt the story.

As for the humor...felt a might forced. Mainly due to the magic going from 'semi-aware' to 'malevolently cruel and spiteful', not too mention uncaring as to whether or not its 'host' was needlessly endangered in order to be taught a 'lesson' for being 'ungrateful'. Ungrateful for what might I ask? This was Ranma's first real attempt to actively and willingly use his new magical abilities. And what would a semi-aware bit of magic care about what it's host felt about it?

As I stated, feels forced. And really serves no purpose other than to discourage Ranma from drawing upon such abilities again save for life or death situations. Self-defeating, as by that time it's likely to be too late.

And no, I've never cared for those fics that base their humor upon how thoroughly they can screw over a character (physically, mentally and emotionally) until the readers begin to question why that character hasn't committed suicide to make the suffering stop.

Up until this chapter you were doing fairly well. Not great, but it was enjoyable. I actually found this chapter rather difficult to complete.

You're selling yourself short. This was very funny, especially the bit with Al Bundy defeating the monster. Hmm... will the magic screw with Ranma for a while longer. There's still so many possibilities to have fun with the unifroms. But I think that for later on the She-Ra outfit would be great as standard uniform.

Definitely a good go.
