That was pretty cool. I've never seen Superman Returns, now I almost want to, lol. I have read the three previous editions of Lacey the Bitter Sue, though, and decided to read this one on a whim after recently reading the other three all over again (out of order, but still fun).

A couple of chapters in, I was beginning to suspect it was building up to (if nothing else) a kiss between Lacey and Clark. Glad to see I was right. I actually quite enjoyed it considering all I know about the Superman 'verse comes from the Smallville tv series.

I suppose lots of us seek ourselves and our own personal answers in our fiction (or movies, in some folks' cases... ahem), but to have the opportunity to actually live through it and really learn those lessons about ourselves with the help of our favorite stories... that's a Mary Sue we all want to be. Kudos to you for tapping into that and maintaining her arc (or "learning curve", perhaps) through all of these stories. It's a stroke of inspired genious and really gives a literary signifigance to what would otherwise be just well-written fanfiction. Keep up the great, witty work.
