Kourin Lucrece 2006-08-12 ch 1,	abusethis was heart-breakingly perfect. i like the way you talked about the parallels and their friendship, and how you never actually out-and-out gave the setting. i have to admit, however, that the way you described the look in danny's eyes struck me most. my uncle was in the fdny until he retired last year, lost a lot of friends that day, and i think i know exactly the look you're talking about.
