This is a wonderful story, I was digging around looking for good Gundam wing fanfics when I found it. I really have been enjoying it. Though it seems you've dropped the story, which is a real pity. If you decide to pick it back up I'd defiantly read the next chapter!

I have an excuse for my late review.
I had to read the entire story over again. And as much as I would LOVE to hole myself in my bedroom and not come out till I have finished my life doesnt work like that.

So...5 months of no update. Thats long. You going for a record? ;) Nevertheless if it takes you ten years to finish this story I will still be reading it because it captivates me that much.

You know your story had enough depth, twist, turns, and surprises and yet...you still go ahead and add Solo to the story. Ahaha, I love it but that makes me worry too. Anyway, of course I adored the ending, but I'm more curious about the ship in the distance. Is it Treize? Goodness I love him and Zechs. I love them so much and they get next to no air time in your story. Anyway looking forward to the next update whenever that is. Perhaps sometime this year if we are lucky? :D -FG

I cannot bloody well *believe* that I took so long to review this! And after such a magnificent chapter! Heero seems to be fitting in fairly well with the ship's crew, and I must commend him for taking the initiative and hunting down the sulking and hiding Captain. You'd think Duo would have a little more pride... but then, seeing as Heero pretty much manages to seduce Shinigami every single time they spend alone together, Duo might have a reasonable excuse. I totally cracked up at Wufei's line ("How dare he invade our homes and rape out women!") because it was so Wufei and so innapropriate all at once. Can't blame Duo for his fit about it, though.

And something to think on- I know for a fact that sound carries like you wouldn't believe on water. And I know that sound from high up go farther still. So if anyone on the ship was awake and near a porthole, I am willing to bet money that they have a fairly good idea that someone just got some. And I'm willing to bet that one person at least (Quatre) will be able to accurately guess who got some from whom. Like the blond needed any more ammunition!

Yah! You updated! Finally! I love the chapter, Duo can be so cute! UPDATE!

Yay, update! *was out of the country and didn't get a chance to read it until now* Sadly, I know no miracle cures for inspiration.. my muse hates me and always inspires me when I have tests to study for >.o Anyhu, great as always, I hope the inspiration lasts a while!

I really love this fic. I had this other pirate fic with duo and heero that I just loved, so I decided to try this one and it turned out to be good, too.
Anyway, I recognized duo's age difference a while ago. You had so many incinuations that I kept getting the feeling he was in his 50s or something. Maybe cursed or something to not grow older? Can't wait to find out what his age actually is.
Anyway, I have found what will probably be my favorite line in all of the fic. “How dare he invade our homes and rape our women!” Great. Brilliant. There are few, FEW, lines I have enjoyed so much. It was absolutely perfect. I swear. I still giggle whenever I think about it.
You're writing seems to be coming along. It seems smoother than it was in the beginning. Do you have an editor? If not, one would be helpful. Editors always seem to be. Or at least, that's my belief. I like how you seem to keep to one person's pov per chapter, it's easier to follow later in the story then the quickly alternating povs.
Anyway, Duo seems to have kept himself exposed as he gets down the later. *snicker* But we'll assume he deals with that for now. Try to never fall into the dissappearing item holes! That is very disorienting. And with lemony bits make sure to keep it clear as to what position they're in and when they change. I hate it when without warning they start describing them in a different position and I'm still stuck trying to figure out how they can do "that" while in the previous position. Just some things to be wary of.

I really thought that, when Heero first started getting all touchy-feely, Duo really was going to take his head off. Surprise Surprise!

i liked heero in this chapter (his confusion, pariah-like feelings, feelings for duo, etc.) as he tries to adjust to life on the shinigami. i especially liked his decisive approach and interaction with duo. in that respect, duo has his own past feelings to deal with in regards to solo so i'm not surprised that he is reciprocating less to heero's advances, but hopefully it'll be better in the future. well i can't wait for the next chapter :) l
