I honestly thought I was going to like this when I read the summary and I had liked some of your previous stories but Sam is acting so immature. She gets angry too easily. She doesn't even know the guy and yet she makes all kinds of judgements. It doesn't even seem like she can take a joke. I honestly don't want to read anymore about her. Sorry.

I just finished reading this whole thing in one sitting! Oh my gosh it was great! I originaly found it on aff. net and couldn't wait till you finished posting it there to see what happened so I found it here. Such a great story you completly sucked me in. I am now going on my merry way to read the sequel! Woo hoo.

I personally think the story has a great start.

Your narrative is great and you give enough backstory about the characters without going into the melodramatic detail of it all. A lot of authors really overdo it; making their OC characters too sorrowful (oh woe is me) or too perfect. Nobody in hell is like that in real life; why should the characters be?

I think my only suggestion is that the first chapter is a little long (but that's just me because I'm not a fan of long chapters. Not sure why I'm leaving this particular review since the story is completed but whatever...)

Anyhoo, like I've said to other authors on this site, I'll review whenever I can but I do actively read.

Whoohoo, a sequel! I am so excited. Especially with the dead phone calls-that's creepy. Should I bring up rabbits here? Sam and John-what else would they be doing? ;)

And of course, my couple-Dave and Cheryl-will be around. I should have probably told you this in our e-mail but I just saw the credits to a movie and 'Cheryl Leigh' worked on it. That was kinda cool and kinda scary. Anyhow, great teaser and I'll be looking for the update!
