The characterization is well done without being over the top, particularly the convincing mixture of arrogance and recklessness on Elizabeth's part. That seamlessly flows into the vulnerability and hints of fear that surface when she begins to understand the severity of the fix she's in, and in turn nicely stands as a counter to James's anger and hurt. Great job! |

Maybe a few before this particular night, like the night she first shagged him at 17. Or maybe write on for each night leading up to the wedding to Norrington. Really well done and inventive. |
