Poor Virgil- it is a name to be burdened with. I liked how you worked in the "wild west" story of the Gunfight at OK Corral- that would appeal to any boy that age! ;) And I agree, Virgil's not a Gus, a Grant OR Donald. Great little story, I enjoyed it a lot!

Aww...Nice handling of this Jeff. I think we've all been through times when we hate our names. But Virgil has to be the winner...even Gordon isn't that bad.

That was a beautifully written and very sweet follow-up to the story of Gordon's lost twin. And, yes, I can see how 'Virgil' might not be the easiest name to bear... but it *is* a quite honorable one. Of all the Mercury Seven, Gus was always my favorite, even with all that happened with Liberty Bell and then the Apollo 1 fire. Anyway, as always, good job. =)
