clonesofconfusion\charlie 2007-09-20 . chapter 1 that night was carved in exquisite detail in his memory, along with the dimensions of that tiny grave back in Lucy’s hometown. Although sometimes Gordon would pull out a certain small album and study its pages for hours. ( so, gordon had a twin? sad, but nice detail) good work on this, are there more? |
Cicilianna 2006-08-24 . chapter 1Poor Virgil- it is a name to be burdened with. I liked how you worked in the "wild west" story of the Gunfight at OK Corral- that would appeal to any boy that age! ;) And I agree, Virgil's not a Gus, a Grant OR Donald. Great little story, I enjoyed it a lot! |
No Ordinary Rabbit 2006-08-20 . chapter 1Aww...Nice handling of this Jeff. I think we've all been through times when we hate our names. But Virgil has to be the winner...even Gordon isn't that bad.
So, are all those facts Jeff gave him true?
Nice story! |
Math Girl 2006-08-19 . chapter 1That was a beautifully written and very sweet follow-up to the story of Gordon's lost twin. And, yes, I can see how 'Virgil' might not be the easiest name to bear... but it *is* a quite honorable one. Of all the Mercury Seven, Gus was always my favorite, even with all that happened with Liberty Bell and then the Apollo 1 fire. Anyway, as always, good job. =)

Lillehafrue 2006-08-14 . chapter 1Great little story! Poor Virgil. That is quite a name to be burdened with. And Jeff handled it wonderfully. Loved the tie in with "White Night." Beautiful.
