One problem. Mr Tom's son was William

well its short but an accurate description of Tom Oakley. You managed to show the relationship that the two of them have, and the depth of emotion within it.

Fluid in form and well written. But more description would have made the place and events easier to see in the reader's mind.

this is good, but wasn't Toms son called William?
