Pairing? I'm not sure that really qualifies as a pairing. He seems too distracted and she seems to fidgety, I don't think they would be able to go through with it the way you portrayed them here. :p

What's great is that it's bold, but chaste in a way too. Happening upon someone in the shower, obviously naked, is of course a very illicit move, but the fact that they hardly touch is endearing. It's almost as if she wanted to be much more forward, but lost her nerve.

Which brings me to my second point. I love the fact that she's so eager to please him, and willing to serve him. Any woman who would hold on to her man the way she did, despite long hours of working and a lot of time apart, would have that kind of fierce loyalty. It's really nice that you included it.

Wow another nice one! I love how you use metaphrs (hope I used this term correctly >.>) to describe your characters! "Suddenly, before they both knew it, they were closer, like the drawing of a magnet to steel..."

Alright, have you written these two before? Own up if you have, because you're really starting to worry me with your ability to step into the heads of characters so easily XD. This was great, I mean really, really really great, I mean I've never seen you pen these two before, but you write them so masterfully. I don't even know the characters much if at all, but your account is so, impression-giving, it's excellent :D. There's not much else to say really, you just have a great sense of character, and atmosphere, this whole story felt, like the place it described. An almost greasy, messy scientific sprawl, the union of chaos and order, it was inspiring, truly, inspiring ^^.
