A cute story, but the inaccuracies of her labor and birth were distracting. I wasn't expecting a documentary, but in real life, contractions five minutes apart usually mean hours left to go. With my first, my contractions were three minutes apart for over 24 hours, and only got me 3cm dialated. First births are slow like that. Also, in a hospitel setting, it almost always takes two pushes to give birth because after the head is out, the doctors invariably tell you to stop pushing while they suction the baby's airway. I'm not trying to over-correct you because I enjoyed your story, but I thought you might like to know how things really work. Having correct details in a story helps readers focus on the heart of the story and opens up possibilities for dramatic moments and plot twists. Keep writing! :)
