I know this feeling...better than I ever wanted to. You wrote it perfectly. I very much hope that you are feeling better now, that some catharsis has been gained from pouring yourself out into words on a page. If nothing else...it's somehow comforting to know that I'm not the only one who understands how this feels.

I can relate to what the previous reviewer is saying. Maybe you could make this a prologue, and elaborate on why the department was shut down, and explore Cuddy's relationships with the doctors some more. It's not very convincing for me. It is a nice little fic (especially after reading your A/N - very sweet) but it just needs some more information.

Good writing, though.

Hmm. I'm not quite sure what to make of this. It doesn't strike me as very in character for Cuddy, particularly her supposed use of the word, 'suck.' There's also the fact that we get no basis whatsover for what precipitated the leaving of House's entire department. There's no mention of Wilson or anyone else in PPTH who had a soft spot for House and the Ducklings. We need more background information.
