I would've prefered it if it was from a third person/omniscient narrator, or another character, because I think True Blue and Rad Red would be too caught up in everything stated to notice it. People are like that.

This was very deep and touching, and now I'd love to see it from Sonic's pov. You often get their relationship from Knuckles' pov, so the story from the other side of the coin would wrap this up nicely in some warm friendy-fluff where it could snuggle down and just be. *slaps self back to sanity*

I've only recently been introduced into the Sonic fandom. And knowing that I was the owner of a PS2 alone, I knew I wasn't about to be playing any of the games, anytime soon. I wound up watching several clips off YouTube. Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic OVA, snippets from the old games, reading up on them...

So, I actually got this. And I'm so glad that someone wrote it down. I keep looking through these texts, and am continously fascinated by their friendship. Because I often see them bicker, but otherwise, there's this air of respect between them.

I came across this fic, and I think this fits the image of their friendship perfectly. You've got Knuckles' personality down flat. I could imagine him talking as I read - it wasn't out of the way you did his speech and style of language, it was just that I could see him saying all of this.

Anyhow, I think I've kept you. ^^; I just wanted to let you know that this fic hit home, and I wanted to thank you for that. Keep writing, this stuff is fantastic. :)

This was a great bit of musings! I loved it! It felt very real, like it was actually Knuckles saying these things. That whole idea of Sonic turning his back to him was very cryptic but turned out to be SO meaningful. This was awesome! I look forward to reading more of your work!!

I haven't seen or kept up with Sonic's storyline for over half my life, but Knuckles was my favoret. I'm sure I forgot alot of it by now but your story was understandable even to me. It sounds just like them from what I remember and well put too.
