I thought an Army-shower was when you drag a rookie out of bed and then throw them in the barracks shower with their clothes on and turn on the water, as a hazing thing. I'm guessing that's not what happened to Link and Zelda, somehow.

I would just like to say that every few months when I'm looking to be cheered up, or I'm just bored at work while on lunch, I'll pull up and re-read this story. I think I've read it a few dozen times now, but each time I do it STILL makes me laugh my ass off.

I just adore every person and every part of this fanfic. It is so much fun! The people have so much character and personality they seem real.

I just wanted you to know that :) This is still one of the best fanfics I've ever read!

This is actually my second time reading through this, and I think I may or may not have left a few scattered reviews the first time. Point being, even though each chapter had a handful of 'distracting' mistakes, this is still one of the most highly entertaining-laugh-out-loud stories I've ever read. The humor aside, I think my favorite part of this is character distinction. You do such an awesome job with the dialogue and making the characters seem realistic, to the point where - even having read this months and months ago - as soon as I started to read it again I picked right back up on the characters, and the images I had in my head the first time reading it came back in perfect clarity. You've done good.

Okay so, I feel like I at least owe it to you to write one last review for the last chapter and my general reactions to the story.

First of all, oh boy can't believe it, but I'm looking forward to the sequel. Since this was out a while ago I imagine if it happened it happened and it's done now, but I'll check that out in a minute.

Okay on to the, well, three 'surprises' in this chapter.

1. Ralph finding a girl: not surprising at all! I was actually waiting for it because I knew it would be coming. If not in this story, then it would've happened in the sequel no doubt about it.

2. Dark knowing Link's grandparents: kind of surprising in the way that I didn't really think about it, although it makes sense when all's considered. I mean, you couldn't have mentioned them more than a couple of times without wanting to make a final comment about them. It was funny, and the story needed a little funny, especially after all they've gone through!

3. Vaati: this was what made this chapter and made the story for me, hands down. I mulled over it for a while, who Zelda's ex was that is, but I couldn't think of who it could be. I never played the games that featured him so maybe that's why, but let me say that it makes perfect sense and I do so look forward to seeing him in the sequel. This was the only kind of 'final string' that made me actually go, 'Oh! So that's what that was!'

The story started out so light-hearted and humorous, I honestly did not expect it to get so dark and serious, especially not in the way it did. When I first started reading this story I read it for the humor/romance, but I didn't think it would be more than a humor/romance high school story. When all of these different aspects came out, I had my reservations. With the turns that some of the characters had personally, I wasn't so sure how I'd feel about it all in the end, but you impressed me quite well despite that.

I think I can summarize it best like this: I came in expecting one thing, it turned out to be something totally different, and I still sat here and read through it. Not only did I read through it, but I actually really enjoyed it. For my own reasons that really surprises me, and it speaks leagues of your ability to come up with an addictive plot and surprising plot points.

Some minor things that I didn't think twice about turned into big factors, while you had apparently bigger things dissolve into non-issues.

Overall I have to say the story was enjoyable, well worth the rad. I wouldn't call it the best thing ever, but it is what it is, and for that you can't go wrong in reading this. Thanks for writing!

But that aside I have to say I wasn't going to post another review for this story for two reasons:

1. It already has a ton of reviews

2. It didn't turn into the story I was hoping it would. I'll be honest it didn't stay nearly as good as that first chapter...

Until now anyways. I think this was probably the best chapter since the first. Ah, no probably, it really is. It was more extensively written, it had a better flow, fewer mistakes, everything.

Not to say the rest of the story hasn't been okay (obviously I've been reading it), but it didn't live up to the standards imposed by chapter one at all. Not always in a bad way, but you get the idea.

There are some typos, aye, but that's about the only bad thing I can say about this story so far.

Interestingly enough I found this story while looking at another person's favorites list, just in case you would like to know. Also since the stories a bit old ha ha.

Fun, funny, romantic-comedy caliber Link x Zelda stories always seem to be in high demand. There are a lot to choose from because of that demand, but they don't always live up to the expectation. It's always hard to tell with the first chapter, but it seems to me like this could be one of those rare, truly-honestly, and down-right well-written and well-played stories. Looking forward to the rest!

You know, this is the 5th time I've read this, and I am STILL not sick of it. This is one of the most well put together fanfictions I've ever read. The characters just speak to me and seem so real.

I also like how you didn't, like quite a few writers do, make your characters invincible, they had to try hard to overcome obstacles.
