I just really, really love this one-shot. It's just so beautiful, really makes me wonder more about Regulus. Isn't he just such a great character? There's a lot you can do with him :)

Wow. Gorgeous again. OK maybe im going on a bit too much now but these are gemstones. This is really good stuff. there are bits of this where i have to think for a bit and bits where i'm not quite sure i get it but thats the point. This isn't really fanfic, it's Literature and when I'm not staring at all my science textbooks I'm a literature junkie.

These are really really good.

Hmm...i think i just reviewed this, but my computer messed up, and i'm not sure if it came through. So if you get two reviews from me...well, now you know why. well, might as well write it over...

Very good. :)

I love your extensive vocabulary skills. They make me jealous. ;)

Yet i'm sure your talents are the product of years of dictionary and practice labor. It only makes me strive to write better myself. :)

arrivderci amici.

P.S. I'm sure not many authors here on this site have your talents, but i have favorite-ed a few on my profile that you might like. (I prefer the decent site of fanfiction--no abhorent grammer or spelling, and I only like stories that actually put spaces in between words and use periods...and the such. Oh, and I usually frown upon sappy material. It makes me... err...mentally gag. What can ya' do?)

Happy Writing and Good Reading!

Good story. Very interesting approach to the subject. I think the last lot really says a lot about the face of things, and how things appear - it's like the story of the Nauglamir being stolen from Thingol in the Silmarillion: the Dwarves said it was the Elves' fault and the Elves blamed the Dwarves for everything that went wrong. Completely different story to Harry Potter, of course, but the same rule applies. I think you have written a very good and very thought provoking story: well done.

"Wow." would not be a sufficient statement. This goes beyond a mere fanfiction, this my friend is a piece of ART.

It's beautiful, there is so much depth to it and it feels as though I can look at this piece from a thousand different angles. I love how you put in a small suggestion that Regulus faked his death. It just, I can’t describe it, but it struck a cord with me. Bravo! *adds to favs*

Wow... amazing!

"Somewhere".. reminds me of West Side Story, except completely different.

Great job. I can't even put my commentary into words.

This is unbearably lovely. The whole thing, for me, centers around this part: "and the way he looked, paused for a moment and framed in twilight at the very edge of the threshold; and he’s thinking about the way the blue-grey sky and clouds and rain make the slow-moving figures in the street waver into nothingness, seeming less substantial than their own shuddering afterimages." It seems to me that though that passage refers to Sirius, we are mute witnesses to the fragile cast of sunlight on the last bright part of Regulus's life before it descends--the edge, if you will.
Beautifully lyrical and very, VERY good character sketch. I applaud you. Please keep writing.

There's something terribly fragile about Regulus in this fic. It's like he's held together by all these things--his family, Sirius, his house, the upheaval of the war, his loyalty (and betrayal) to the Dark Lord--but he might, without warning, shatter into a million unintelligible fragments.

Anyway, lovely fic. Very lyrical.
