Now, I love it, but here a couple criticisms/questions.
First of all, and this is nothing really, but I honestly don't think that Vincent would put such an emphasis on testing, pregnancy, etc. He's had quite a life, I feel like that wouldn't be a top priority in his eyes... and besides, I just get annoyed with romances that seem to hold having children as the pinnacle of love (you didn't emphasize it that much though so I was all right). Also, why do you assume that a mature rating isn't enjoyable? I suppose I don't know much about the age group on this site at the moment, but I felt that chapter 10 didn't lack taste at all. It was passionate and realistic, and sex is a very viable part in the formation of a relationship. I think it rounds out the story well... especially since, and I do mean no offense, it does get kind of preachy what with your strong personal views on the subject. Either way, make the story what you want it to be; don't write it to the whims of others, unless it's a challenge/gift. I don't know. Sex ISN'T dirty or shameful, if you love someone, even if it is drunken and sloppy. Down with Puritan brainwashing, and down with the blatant oversexualization of the media. Oh, and you simultaneously claimed that Vince DID and DID NOT sleep with Lucrecia ;) Sorry I talked so much, but the overanalyzing (almost criminalizing? Like shaking a finger at?) the whole sexual aspect is the only thing that I didn't find wonderful.

First of all, I want you to realize that I have spent a gross amount of successive time reading this story today... up until the middle of this chapter... where I just had to tell you, I adore your perception of communication. You, above any author I've seen, continually portray the emotions of your characters through other means than words with a very subtle, and highly effective, emphasis. At the moment, I am not articulating my praise to you very well. But, yeah, your insight into human interaction is astonishing. More later :)

No conclusion. Great story though I enjoyed it-- really felt sorry for poor Vincent. Though I can empathise with Tifa. Wish someone showed as much patience to me as Vincent had done to Tifa.
It would have been nice to have the chance and luxury of lonely thought. Ah well, life is not like that, which I guess is why we have fiction.

that seriously was the most amazing sex scene I have ever read. Ever. It wouldn't let me review yesterday on account of my internet being schizophrenic so I know what happens in the next chapter too. God, I've never come across Tifa being such an ass.

In a way, she is treated Vincent is the way she sees Cloud treating her. Only coming back when she needs him, when she requires it. So cruel.

I hope this gets happier. Seriously, its been on my mind all day.

This is fantastic. I love the way you write. A small sentence contains enough poignancy to say it all. Just beautiful. I like how Vincent seems to have adapted somewhat.
I look forward to continuing this. No doubt I'll be up for hours, having found this.

You know, as this story continues, I really do feel a bit of pity for Vincent. There are times when a guy's gotta wonder, "When will something just go /right/ for once?" I hope he gets his happy ending.

okay, i haven't read the chapter yet, but i must comment first! i must explain to you how wonderfully ecstatically HAPPY finding this update alert in my inbox made me! this truly is one of my top five favorite fanfictions of all time, your overall style one of the (personally) most inspirationl... i really love your work. A week ago i re read this story from the beginning, and am overjoyed to see it updated so soon after i had. I know it's a fantastic chapter, and i'm glad you've begun working on this again!!

I'm really glad to see a new chapter for this. I thought this was going to be left unfinished, which would have been a shame. I liked this chapter because you showed more of Cloud and Vincent's relationship. While they did have a talk a few chapters back, it's interesting to see how the deal with each other regarding the situation. The circumstances allow for a lot of drama and emotions. You really have a gift for setting modes and tones through character dialogue and not simply through descriptions of the settings or whatnot. This chapter, and the story as a whole, has been fantastic.

I can't wait for the next chapter.

Good God, it's been a while... lol. Not to sound ungrateful, but wow what a wait.

Despite that, the chapter flowed really, really well, I quite enjoyed it. The threat of an outburst between the adults is still there, more of a background feeling, but it's there, and I know it all too well. Having to be nice to someone that you don't want to be and all that jazz... Horrid feeling, but flowed well within the story. I could actually 'feel' the tensity and the biting humor, I loved it. Short chapter, read it in about 20 minutes, but I still enjoyed my time.

Revise chapter 10? But why would you want to do that? =P

Again though, like every other chapter I've reviewed, it was grand. This may be a first, but I feel like I can actually give some advice for the story. Longer chapters! lol. Not sure if that's advice, or simply a request, but I love stories with chapters that take nearly an hour to finish. I know that's a lot of work, so I expect nothing. =P

I'll spare you the long details of what I thought when I opened my e-mail to find a notification about a new chapter, but here's the GREATLY shortened version...

"New Agape chapter?! YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY..." and it continues like that for about 10 minutes before I could calm myself down enough to read it lol.

Great chapter; I've always really loved this story and I missed it! So glad to look in my inbox today and see that I had updates from two of my favorite authors!

I love that this is from Vincent's point of view, and I love the way you've written his character. Sometimes he seems so static that I just get stick of reading VinTi fiction, sick to death actually, so this is totally a refreshing breath of air.

Really love reading Vincent's thoughts, following his line of reasoning- so interesting to read and entertaining.

Also, if Tifa doesn't want him- I'll take him!
