First off, it's a really good fic. Love the way everything was written.

Second, WHY DID THE ENDING HAVE TO BE THAT WAY?!?!?!? That seriously messed everything up! WHY would Kakashi DENY ever having stepped foot in Iruka's apartment?! WHY I SAY, WHY??

I am finding it very difficult to wrap my mind around the outcome of their relationship. Care to shed some light on this matter? I really want to know!

ACK! That was a very depressing story. It was tragicaly sad. T^T I loved the story and i hope if u don't mind if i act like i never read the ending. It was a very well written story and I liked it very much.

you know...i think i can safely say i am confuse as everyone else about the ending...huh? o__O ?...yeah you totally pull a kakashi "look underneath the underneath"...i can't look underneath the underneath...so if you could be so kind as to let me know the secret of the story...because you totally pull the rug under me with that cryptic ending...and i wonder if the title has to anything to do with the ending?...but despite how it ended, the story was pretty good in itself...you should give yourself a pat on the back for doing a great job on this story and especially with the ending...i am sure you have lots of review about the ending...which can only mean that you really really left a big impression on them like you did to me...so please help me understand the "look underneath the underneath"...and once again totally love the story!

Ok, I'm confused. So it was a dream? If so, how did Kakashi get the ring? Had Iruka bought the ring the day before? Why would Kakashi not tell Iruka what really happened and continue to make him think that it was a dream if it wasn't? And why didn't Iruka confess since he really did love Kakashi? Did they remain friends? And Anko? Really? Totally not seeing that one.

Oh i bet you're feeling mighty cleaver right now. WHAT THE HELL?!! hOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO THEM?! THEYRE BOTH IN LOVE ENGAGED TO BE MARRIED AND YOU MAKE THEM SPLIT UP?!! IRUKA CONVINCED HES DELUTIONAL AND KAKASHI MARRYING A WOMAN EVEN TRO HES CLEARLY STILL IN LOVE WITH IRUKA?!! WHY?!? PLEASE EMAIL ME A LIST OF REASONS BEFORE I AM FORCED TO HUNT YOU DOWN AND DRAG THEM FROM YOUR TORTURED TWISTED MIND! Or flame you. And write nasty nasty things about you. Even if your horrible story was well written. (Cries for the misery that is your suffering Kakashi/Iruka)

hey, i wanted to say a job well done. unfortunately i really hate the ending.

i understand that 'thing are not always as they appear' but you don't have to make it such and ending. well, i won't even cry my eyes out if you didn't add the short epilogue.

They suppost to be together. U need to pay for the box of tissue that i had use to wipe my tears after reading this.

HEY! THAT'S JACKED UP! Why'd he just leave Iruka like that? No Fair!

Okay the story was really cute and i really wanted to snap Iruka for his denseness lol but some things just didnt make sense, like when you speak of "nostalgia" when Iruka is in the shower, it doesnt really make sense to me. And of course, the ending: i have nothing against what you could call "sad" or "unpredictable" endings, but this one was confusing as well. The reader really doesnt understand why Kakashi keeps himself away from Iruka after having been through all this trouble to tell him and have him, especially after having spent such a cute christmas... Now, maybe it makes sense to you, but you need to explain it to the reader, cuz in short, what i felt after the ending was something like "the writer was bored as hell and just wanted to screw with the characters and thus, the readers". You need to explain that ending and the way Kakashi acts more. Otherwise, it was a fairly good short story and i liked it :)

So sad! Poor poor Ruka-kun! Shame on Kakashi...
