If I hadn't already favourited this fic I would.
A lovely conclusion - us Tate fans always like to draw our inspiration from 'what could have been' and to see Tony recognize that was truly magical.
You have created a new side of Tony - mature and less-selfish. As I quote lord of the rings:
"Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer."
You have left the reader with the feeling that Tony will come out of this just fine, if not a little stronger and a little wiser. At least this reader anyway.

Is the *sweetest* fic ever! I loved it =D Not sure about the JAG bits, I mainly loved the bits with Kate actually, ehe. It's really sweet because even if Kate's dead, of COURSE she's not gone forever!
