Two things: 1) I am loving this story (even if it did take me a few years to find it) and 2) I absolutely love the A/N at the beginning of the chapter, that was the best part, by far, of that episode :)

I absolutely loved your story. I'm a recent fanatic to the Stargate storyline (yeah, I'm a little behind the times!) and your story was wonderfully well written and the storyline was very intriguing. I liked how the 'punishment' circle managed to bring Jack and Sam together - and REALLY liked how all their friends and collegues pulled together to find a soloution before anything dire could happen.

I'm also glad I came upon it at this late date, after it was completed - because hanging on for updates with some of these chapters would have killed me!

A fantastic story! Sorry that I haven't reviewed every chapter, but I was always very anxious to read the next, especially as I started reading this when it had already been finished for a while!

There was nothing I didn't like, apart from the fact that this story has interfered greatly with my revision for my exams, which start in 2 days, so if I fail them, it's your fault! Lol!

I tell you one thing. After reading this story, I will NEVER look at cribbage the same way again, or without going beet red and giggling. Brilliant story. You had me whacking my head on the desk in frustration, muffling moans and laughing out loud. Job well done.

If I had one complaint I would say the characterisation, particularly Sam, was a bit off. She's a bit wimpy for me and, although you get flashes of insecurity from her throughout the series, nothing like what you see here. However, given that I lot of that comes through her thoughts in the story here and we don't routinely see/hear her thoughts in the TV series, who is to say it isn't there but we don't see it?
Overall though, I liked the premise, the plot and the resolution and it was a well constructed story. I also thought there was a suitably well balanced mix of humour, angst and fluff so it's all good.

I liked the first part of this story, but I can already tell I won't be able to finish because of your characterization of Sam as, apparently, chronically ashamed. She's ashamed she fell into the pool (really, I can't imagine any of the four of them being that embarrassed by a simple mishap by season 7), she's ashamed of her erotic dream (at her age?), and she's convinced Jack's angry with her for no reason that I can discern. I need my Sam (or any adult, professional woman) to have a little more self-confidence. It's like you ripped a character from the romance novels you mention and slapped Sam's name on her.

It's too bad, because you do have a good ear for language.

I really liked the diplomatic positions you put them in. It was a unique solution I'd never seen before.
