Okay, I know you posted this story up a while ago, but I have to say, fantastic story! Written brilliantly... _ too bad there wasn't anymore though... :-)

About all I can say about this is 'amazing'. You've got everyone in charachter, the emotional turmoil is perfect, you have Clark and his good nature right, Bruce's creepiness-factor right, everything...

I know that Dannell has long been taken from us, and I'd read this story years ago now on a Yahoo Group, but it still is a remarkable and lovely story that stands the test of time. Thank you to whomever has kept this story up here at It deserves it. :-)

Beautiful story. Riveting in the narrative flow, and you capture the characters so perfectly. A lot of people either don't get these two, or get one but seem to despise the other. But here there is affection, understanding, and deep respect for BOTH of them. This really explains, too, how these two very different people could become best friends by the time we see them as adults. Nice job!

Absolutely Beautiful. I love how you captured Bruce. At this moment Bruce is still very much Bruce, he has yet to become The Batman. Bruce seems so innoccent and almost fragile and yet Clark sees the determination in his eyes and he is anything but.

I thought that there were numerous occasions in the narration when the narrator sounded very definitely femine, i.e., whenever Bruce's physical appearance was described in great detail and especially during those times when the reader is also given the impression that the narrator is getting turned on by the description. So much love! So much love for this story! I loved Buzz and Lana and Leslie and everybody being in the story. And man, Alfred and Mrs Kent in one place at one time. If they'd been there any longer, good food might have started spontaneously generating. Your Bruce and Clark are spot-on, and this was a great read. Thanks!
