Oh my! Very poetic, and the flow was fast in places and slow in others, very like a river. Lovely descriptors and wow!

Your excercise was a success I would say. I have only ever used first and third peson. Second person I find difficult to pull off, so Kudos to you on that note as well!

You also captured that "I only come alive with sword in hand in battle" feel very well.

Wonderful stuff...I better go before I gush some more! ^_^
