I couldn't convey that much characterization, meaning and even beautifully written (almost lyrical) words into 100 words. Just amazing.

I never knew that 247 words could be so powerfull. I can't remember when I first read this fic, but I always seem to come back to it. This is the most powerful, moving, fic I have ever read. It is so short, but so painfully sad. In a way the length of it adds to it. I can't put to words how much I love this fic. It has made me cry. I love it so much. I have read countless fics, so many of which have been countless chapters long and which I have been SO impressed by. But this short, one paragraph is my favorite. It is just so POWERFUL! I can't put into words how amazing it is. It captures exactly what needs to be said, and nothing more. It is perfect, and I love it. I am so impressed with this fic, and I hope you are so proud of yourself for such an amazing piece of writing.

I don't usually read character death fics, but this is beautifully poignant without going over the top with messy angst. This line--"as if scraping the bits of her quietly oozing out of his skin every evening, after waking up from a sleep laden with her"--wow. The bit about it being "her" Grissom is also a gorgeous insight. Lovely!

How can a few lines bring such vulnerable sensitivity? You write about them in a way that reminds me of my most tender GSR thoughts.The butterflied effect I would call it.
